About Jill
Jill King is the Executive Director of Lakes Life Care Center in Forest Lake, where she has led the organization since 2010. Lakes, founded in 1982, provides life-affirming care to women and families through pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, prenatal and parenting education, material support, and referrals. Jill is deeply committed to walking alongside families for as long as they need support, empowering women to make informed, life-affirming choices.
Jill came to Lakes from a background in early childhood education, bringing with her a lifelong passion for women, families, and the value of life. A personal experience early in her life shaped her unwavering commitment to this mission and continues to fuel her work today.
Outside of Lakes, Jill serves as a paid on-call firefighter for the City of East Bethel, holding the rank of lieutenant and training officer, often joking that she spends her days putting out figurative fires and her nights putting out literal ones. She is married and the proud mother of two grown children
