About Robin
I moved to Minnesota in May 2025 to be closer to my two daughters and their children. I began working at Miller & Stevens Law as an associate attorney where I do transactional work. I am licensed in Minnesota and North Dakota. Prior to moving to Minnesota, I owned and operated Aanstad Law in Mayville, North Dakota. I grew up on a farm in northeast North Dakota, where my son now farms. When I was in high school, I wanted to become a lawyer until a teacher told me that law was a man’s profession and that women didn’t become lawyers. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked as a paralegal for a number of years until my female boss convinced me that I needed to go to law school. I entered law school at the age of 54 and graduated at 57, proving my former teacher was wrong and that it’s never too late until you’re dead. I am passionate about supporting women of all ages and encouraging them to do whatever they feel life has called them to do, no matter what anyone else says.
